| It's 2 am and I have a midterm in 8 hours. Seems like the perfect time to post.
I had a really nice weekend visiting Stephen, Kevin and Bernard in San
Fran with Breanna. Oh and Joleine came too! It was a
partay. Yay! It's so nice to have a change of scenery now and
then. Breanna went to see Nada Surf in concert on Friday
night. After that we piled in Bernard's car and went driving off
in search of food. We ended up at an open-24-hr cafe in a casino
across from a huge cemetary at 3am. It was very enjoyable.
We took pictures and thought we saw ghosts. Tehe.
Let's see, most of the weekend was spent relaxing. I
studied a bit...mostly listened to a lot of Dane Cook and watched
LOST. YES!!! that is the GREATEST SHOW!!! I still have like 6
epsiodes of season one to watch o_O....thank god stephen is coming up
this week. ;D
I think naked rain is going to happen very soon....heheheheh.
oooook better hit the books...ugh cant wait till this midterm is over.

| Ok. Man. I forgot
that college is HARD! And the quarter system moves so fast...I
have a midterm a week from Monday. WHat?? But
whatever. That's ok. I'm not too worried. I say
this all the time, but I really do think grades are unimportant.
Of course, I have to remind myself of that a LOT when it comes down to
tests and stuff....I just need someone to pop out of a closet and be
like MESSAGE! what happens is now is not that important in the
grand scheme of things! but yes. enough of my babble.
ok. does anyone realize
that the Nightmare Before Christmas video game comes out on OCTOBER
11!?!?!? yeah. yeah. you can bet im gonna shell out 50
bucks for it. except i have no money. shit. aughh its going
to eat away at my soul. to know that i COULD be playing it but im
not....i wonder if it will be any good. i hope it is.
This week went by reeally
fast. I still can't believe I'm a sophmore sometimes. where
did high school go? that seems like the most trivial thing
now.
I haven't been very homesick
at all this year. I guess it's because I'm living with fun people
and never feel lonely. yay for that! ive just kind of
accepted that this is my home and dont think too much about how i was
living in san diego a month ago. sooo different from last year.
its pretty weird how
this summer just kind of happened and ended like...4 weeks ago...man i
miss the days when a xanga post meant writing what happened to you that
day. now its all this introspective shit. fuck
that! ok lets see if I can do this.
so i woke up at like 9
45. I wanted to wake up at 9 so I could study for my japanese
quiz, but i was pretty tired and decided to sleep more. heh.
sleep. so excited to do that tonight. um yeah had japanese
at 12 30...god speaking of japanese the education abroad applications
are due in NOVEMBER!! that is so soon!!! how can i decide if i really
really really want to study in another country in such a short
time??? aghhhh. I guess I want to go to Japan....man that would
be so scary. but really exciting too. so after japanese I
had classical myth. its a pretty good class, but since it's at 2
i have a veerrrrry hard time staying awake. my professor is the
most professory professor ever. he has long frizzy gray hair and
wears tweed jackets.
I would just like to tell
everyone that the TA for my astronomy class is HOT. dear
god. he is so incredibly hot. this other girl named hannah
in my class agrees with me. she pronounces it HAW-nah.
After classical myth I
returned to the apartment and found mari and ken watching a walk to
remember. ahahaha. that move always makes me think of the time i
was forced to watch it with katy and linnea. i made loud rude
noises every time mandy moore came on the screen. dahahha.
I really miss my san diego
homies. I cant wait for the san francisco
thanksgiving. i miss SAM!! man. im really glad im not
taking physics, biology, and ochem AT THE SAME TIME. Sam, you
amaze me.
I wonder what bri bri is up to these days. probably studying at barnes and noble with martin. sigh. memoriiiiiies.
oh yeah! i watched this
movie called Wet Hot American Summer, and it was like the funniest shit
ive ever seen. If youve never heard of it, GO WATCH IT!!

| Hello everyone! Time for an update. What else is there to
do in the afternoons? Besides uh...reading and homework which I
do not do. It is SO hot today. It feels like 99 degrees in
this room. I cannot be expected to do any work in these
conditions.
I've been having a really great time living in my girly
apartment. It is sooooo wonderful to not be a terrified fresh
person like last year. And not wear sandals in the
bathroom. It's so nice to have good friends all ready made.
hehe. It was pretty easy to get back into the swing of
things. Um...except the class part. There is just so much
fun stuff to do, going to class seems so unimportant. oh
well! I'm taking Japanese 4, which is pretty cool, Classical
Myth, and Astronomy. I crashed Classical Myth on Monday, so I'm
not quite sure what's going on, but there is a lot of reading.
Astronomy is very interesting, but some of the concepts are difficult
for me to understand. My brain hasn't had to think in a math or
science like way in so long!
I'm thinking I might be Peter Pan for Halloween. That'd be so
great. It'd be really hard to get a hat like the one he wears
though. My rommates and I are all going to try and be cartoon
characters. I love Halloween! I can't believe it's almost October. Someone's birthday is coming up :B
ok...im trying to think of anything intersting to say. hmm.
nope. guess thats all for now. i have to wait for something
exciting to happen. or maybe i have to go make it happen.

night together" by dr. hook. It's from the 40 year old virgin
soundtrack, which is quite possibly the best comedy ever....ever. Just
thought I would share...
Yay for xanga posts! It's been a while, but what's new? I say that everytime, haha.
So I'm back in santa barbara and life is good! I have been here since
thursday, and it's been non-stop fun...haha. But it sucks because
tomorrow is the last day of summer...fuck. And I am not even REMOTELY
excited about school, since I went to the bookstore today to buy my
books...I didn't even get all of them and they were like $500...and I
would have you all know that was ALL my money...UGH..just thinking
about it makes me want to cry..so I think I'm going to stop.
Last night was fun...dance party at 6503...in will's
room..hahaha. It was hott..with two t's...yayuh! I missed hanging out
with will and meredith...will always hooks us up with the JAMS!! Okay I
can't believe that sentence just came out of my mouth...ew.
Oh yeah...living with the roommates has been...interesting so far. No
major problems yet, just the usual gripes about dirty kitchens and shit
lying around everywhere. I wonder how this will play out...but we have
all developed a love for doing fitness videos, which is nothing short
of spectacular since the videos consist of sweatin to the oldies and
aerobics...with SOUL!! HAHAHAHA YES!! African tribal dances...scorez0rs!
Anyway...I'm tired...BEDTIME!

| yay a post finally! i haven been pretty absent from this xanga
for uh..all of summer. sorry about that. not like anyone
actually gives a shit, right? 
sooooo ive been working at marshalls for about a month now. yeah
it pretty much sucks a lot of cock. The again, it isnt too
bad.. I pretty much just stand around and count the clothes
people try on. It just makes me sad, really. The
store opens at 9 30, and people come in at like 9 37 and want to try on
15 ugly pieces of clothing. Im just like, dont you have anything
to do today besides shop at this fucking place? i mean, once in a
while is cool. but sometimes i see the same lady like 5 times in
a week and it just makes me depressed holden caulfield
style. go take up gardening or something!! go to the beach!
why do you keep coming back to this place? the music is enough to
drive anyone insane. of course, getting paid makes it all
worthwhile yay for money.
my last day is this wednesday, yay! a couple days to relax before
heading back up to school. AUGH!!!! school!!! i cant believe its
here already. i really could use another month or so to lie
around and do nothing. its just like calvin said: theres
never enough time to do all the nothing you want! oh well.
I think this year will be a good one. especially since i am no
longer a terrified freshman and dont have to go through the huge
adjustment thing again. im gonna be living in an on-campus
apartment with some great girls, so that should be
exciting. i just hope i actually go to class. there is a
large chance we will end up watching movies in our pajamas for like 8
hours every other day.
im scared about my japanese 4 class! i have been so horrible this
summer and have not studied! i gotta do a crash catch up thing or
something. maybe after sam leaves. waah!! im gonna miss
sam! but its ok, cus i plan to actually learn how to get around
this fall. take the bart and what not, and trains and things so i
can hang out with my san diego homies more often during the year.
the not seeing each other for like 3 months is UNSAVORY.
so lets see...there's been a lot of shopping going on. that is
good, except im such a dope and always get buyer's remorse and return
everything. well not all the time, but still. i wish i
could be not-responsible and just spend. Gah! i need
to go meditate or something. think about something besides
material possessions. like, what the fuck am i gonn major
in? haha i STILL have no idea! i dont kno what im going to
do. i guess im scared to commit. i dont wanna tie myself
down to a major because it seems to big and scary and final. even
though people always say your major in college is nothing more than
dinner conversation. i guess i could still go language
studies...ha i actualyl ended up getting a B+ in my linguistics class,
after all that. I guess I was only focusing on the
really bad scores i received, but there were a few good ones, thank god.
all right, i better go do some stuff before work. la!
